I have designed my fabric to be used for interiors, specifically cushions, blankets and throws in this case. I have therefore included hand loom weaves in my work, which I have added a larger variety of colour in, that I feel represent Indian design. I created these weaves to act as a trim on the throws that I have designed my fabrics for. In these weaves I have also used the trim of the Jacquard looms that are in my collection, to create a great texture, which I feel adds even more to the Indian side of my designs

For this topic of work I have tried to create fabrics that mix up two different cultures, Indian and English. I have done this by using rather traditional Indian design motifs, and adding traditional English techniques. I have done this by trying to create a patchwork look in my fabrics, as you can see from these examples
